Velvet Sugar Bakes started in my home kitchen with a simple love for baking and making people feel special.
I’m Bev, the founder and baker behind every cake, cupcake, macaron and sweet box. For me, baking has always been about more than creating something delicious. It is a way to celebrate life’s special moments, bring people together and turn an ordinary day into something memorable.
What began as weekend treats for family and friends soon grew into custom orders for birthdays, gatherings and milestones. People loved the fresh flavours, thoughtful details and personal touch that come with a small home bakery. After plenty of encouragement, happy smiles and second helpings, Velvet Sugar Bakes was born.
Today, I create beautiful, small-batch bakes from my home in Sydney using quality ingredients and plenty of care. From celebration cakes and delicate macarons to cupcakes and beautifully presented gift boxes, everything is handmade and created especially for you.
I take the time to understand your ideas and bring them to life, whether you are looking for a show-stopping centrepiece cake or a sweet gift for someone special. Every detail matters, and my goal is to create something that tastes just as wonderful as it looks.
